Self-taught photographer Elizabeth Gadd created her signature style of photographing travelers in gorgeous landscapes. The artist from Vancouver, Canada captures moments of wanderlust and adventure in every still frame she creates.
Raised in the beautiful Canadian mountainsides, Elizabeth has always been used to seeing forests, mountains, and fields where she would always explore herself. In the long run, she started taking her camera with her to capture the beauty she sees all the time. At certain times, she would also take her two pooches with her as well.
“I am entirely self-taught,” she explained. “Everything I learned came simply from hours of experimentation, the most effective method being taking on a ‘365 project.’” The results of course are fantastic, as her creations always come out wonderfully.
“I aim to display human interaction with nature in a positive and peaceful way,” she said on her website. This explains the reason a large number of her photos are self-portraits. “I hope when people look at my photos, they can feel what I felt while taking them.”
