One of my fav things about art is being able to discover the works of other artists – and because of technology, it’s easier to find talent from all corners of the globe now. I recently discovered one of the most low-profile but extremely creative people, Stanislav Solovyev.

I came across his works about a week ago or so, and my team of creatives and I quickly scoured the net to find out stuff about him. Oddly enough, it’s difficult to find a feature on this guy! Maybe it’s the language barrier, I don’t know.

He’s been on the Logo Pond website for about 2½ years now, yet clearly very few here in the States may have known about him. Other than his VK profile (think Facebook for Russia) and his Logo Pond page, there really isn’t much online about him.

That is fine, because it’s easier to let his art speak for themselves. Stanislav’s designs are simple yet effective. Most of the designs of his logos are of one to three colors, with focus on typography and simple shapes that represent whatever it is he’s designing for.
