Art Event of the Summer

The Art Elephant (TAE), together with Thumbprint Gallery, curate Summer Night Art social at Disconnected Salon on Thursday, July 31st. The event kicks off at 6 PM (until 10 PM) will launch TAE Magazine, a free creative online quarterly magazine that will be the next evolution of the popular art blog with the same name.

The Summer Night Art Social is a step up from the traditional art show – expect drinks, a live DJ, and the opportunity to socialize, network, and simply mingle with fellow art lovers and industry creatives. It will showcase art from Keemowerks, Mimi Yoon, Eric Wixon, and Lauren Turton and display work in styles from multi-layered spray paint and stickers, to self portrait photography and a variety of mixed mediums.

About Thumbprint Gallery
With support from Thumbprint Gallery’s Paul Ecdao as co-curator, the event hopes to make a splash in the ever-changing art world. Founded in 2009 by Ecdao and Johnny Tran, the gallery has been curating free shows that create an engaging atmosphere for art lovers in California’s La Jolla and San Diego areas.
