Many people today use photo manipulation software like Photoshop to conceal imperfections or otherwise alter photographs. Conceptual artist Gediminas Pranckevicius, however, uses it to create amazingly detailed worlds that look straight out of someone’s ethereal dreams.
His imagined landscapes are digital works of beauty that display odd juxtapositions of earth, sky, water, and man-made architecture. It’s a departure from his usual style of character-based designs, and the world’s welcomed this new style of his with open arms.
Gediminas’s artwork shows everything, from flying pigs to giant trolls, and even an entire village underneath grasslands where a man is playing on a grand piano. Some “worlds” are more normal-looking than others, whatever our human standard of “normal” is.

A lot of his work is available to buy as prints, and you can find out more via his website.
