Yesterday was a piece of history in the making. August 21 marks the first time in 38 years that the USA experienced a total solar eclipse. Dubbed “The Great American Eclipse,” it’s nearly been a hundred years that all of North America experienced a path of totality from the West to the East coasts.
Clearly monumental, nearly everyone who had a chance to went outside to catch a glimpse of this historical event. Using either store-bought or home-made glasses specially made for looking at an eclipse, people’s lives pretty much stopped for a few minutes to witness such a once in a lifetime phenomenon.
Sadly, I am on the other side of the world with my family, but the TAE team enjoyed looking through these impressive eclipse photos that capture this event.
