Street art is pretty big for us here at TAE. Myself and some of the other writers even often take photos of random street art we encounter during our travels. My family and I have been away from home for a while now, but we’re always excited to find out about street art events worldwide! What recently caught our eye is an event from our neighbors up north – the MURAL International Public Art Festival and MURAL Art Fair (FAM) in Montreal, Canada.

Walls have been painted left and right, and prints have been released, and it’s exciting to find about 100 pieces of art within 10,000 square feet of exhibition space. Both local and international artists participated, including one of our favs Fintan Magee from Australia (featured above). Marché Bonsecours was home to FAM’s third edition, which is monumental on its own as the venue is known as one of the country’s top 10 finest heritage buildings.

With 16 galleries and exhibitors sharing a common love of urban and contemporary art, all the murals, installations, and various events that went on last month were surely a sight to see! Here are some photos of FAM, courtesy of Street Art News:
