This year, the OMA’s Day of the Dead celebration turned out to be the event of the season all thanks to the artists and art enthusiasts who made it happen. Exquisite details set the mood for guests to celebrate in a traditional and expressionistic manor. From the fresh bright colorful flowers throughout the museum to Dia de los Muertos make-up artists painting faces all night, Art After Dark coordinator Tracy Black , helped create a magical evening for all to remember. I was in attendance with Illustrator Graham Smith, teaching party goers how to make recycled Dia de los Muertos masks. The event was a great success! Scroll down to see some highlights of the evening.
