In addition to art, I have a strong passion for travel. You could only imagine how happy I get when those two worlds meet! I heard about the “happiest country on earth” called Bhutan, it’s a tiny country near India, Tibet, China, and Nepal. It’s a landlocked country about the size of Indiana, with a population of a little less than 800,000. Because of its proximity to its neighboring countries, the art there is very similar to that of Tibet and India.
I recently stumbled upon the Flickr page of photographer Mayur Kakade, and it showcases the undeniable beauty Bhutan has to offer. This country is definitely in my bucket list now! Take a look at these photos to see why:
