I’m a fan of chalk art, and Tommaso Guerra is right up on my list of people who do amazing things with it. In his most recent work, he uses chalk on a combination of street art and typography, two types of art that make a huge chunk of what TAE blog is all about.

The Rome-based artist has a strong background in typography, graphic design, fine art, and even interior design! He’s made a name for himself as an established chalk artist doing letterings with the powdery substance.

While Tommaso has been commissioned several times to do beautiful designs and typography using chalk for various businesses and restaurants around the world, he also loves doing public displays. His latest is aptly titled “&” which is drawn on asphalt. It’s huge at 5 square meters (about 16.4 square feet)!
