Creativity is defined as – The ability to produce something new through imaginative skill, whether a new solution to a problem, a new method or device, or a new artistic object or form. By combining his extensive knowledge in graffiti arts, lithography, illustration, and printmaking with his organic artistic ability, Adam’s art is the epitome of creative. His concepts are unique and his executions are always well planned. Adam’s works have been described on his site to have “a satirical look, challenging concepts of modernity, using spaces as a language to describe forgotten places, and light to evoke their story and context within the present, our time.”
During my visit to Adam’s studio, I had the chance to talk to him about his upcoming projects and life as an artist in the city. I asked him my favorite and most fulfilling question, “Where do you get your inspiration?”. He explained that he gains inspiration by getting lost and taking a bunch of photos, then he finds sets of images that go together, and starts on his project. One project can take him up to 8 months to complete, but it is definitely worth the wait. The final product/s amounts to 2 intricate stencil pieces and one photo like painting made from the same stencils and spray paint.
